Founders
Shayesteh Fürst-Ladani
Shayesteh has extensive knowledge and experience in building purposeful and commercially successful global companies from scratch. She is a recognized expert in healthcare product development and life cycle management. Using her solid knowledge and strong analytical & strategic thinking, she provides and implements corporate strategies in accordance with business goals. Shayesteh is President of the Board of Directors of two associations, namely the Rare Disease Action Forum (RDAF) focusing on improving access to diagnosis and treatment for patients with rare diseases in Switzerland and the Medtech & Pharma Platform (MPP) focusing on the intersection of drugs with devices, digital health and diagnostics.
She is a senior advisor to, Digital Health, SPARK, and VentureLab, as well as a lecturer at the GMPD Academy.
Shayesteh has an MBA from the Open University Business School, Milton Keynes, UK, and a Master of Science in Microbiology from the University of Vienna, Austria. She is a Global Fellow in Medicines Development and a frequently invited speaker.
Walter Fürst
Walter is Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Luminance Health.
He runs the operation of the company ensuring reliable and compliant operations (including finance and IT) and high responsiveness towards employees, clients and vendors while keeping lean structures and a low SG&A margin.
He has significant experience managing Medical Communications, Market Access and Healthcare Compliance teams. He led cross-functional teams in developing medical communications including scientific manuscripts, position papers, and educational materials. In the area of Market Access, he advised on regular and exceptional access pathways to establish pricing and reimbursement for medicinal products in Switzerland.
Walter received a Diploma in Management from the Open University Business School, Milton Keynes, UK, and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Vienna, Austria.
